For over six decades, Vamsha has been more than just a textile brand — it’s been a name woven with trust, tradition, and timeless quality. What started as a humble vision by Haji V.M. Abdul Rahim in 1960 has now grown into a trusted destination for families across Tamil Nadu and beyond.
From our first store in Ramanathapuram (1972), to Thiruvarur (1983), and now Mayiladuthurai (2024), we’ve been committed to offering high-quality clothing at fair prices with exceptional customer service.
Our Story
Vamsha’s journey began when Haji V.M. Abdul Rahim introduced Tamil Nadu-made clothing to Odisha and Bengal. With his brother, he established the first showroom in Ramanathapuram in 1972.
The second milestone came in 1983, when Thiruvarur Maharaja opened its doors, eventually growing into a 50,000 sq. ft. modern showroom under the leadership of Haji V.A. Mohammad Mansoor Ali.
In 2024, the journey continues with the launch of our Mayiladuthurai branch, marking a proud new chapter for the third generation of Vamsha.
